I am a ceramic artist based in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall. Inspired by communities and cultures that live in harmony with the natural world my focus is on care for the environment and care for each other.
All the materials I use are locally sourced and processed, this is consistent with my commitment to sustainability and creates a connection to place. My current body of work includes using terra sigillata made from locally foraged clays, ash glazed stone ware and an investigation into unglazed, low fired functional domestic ware.
