Connection
These pots are marked with handprints and fingerprints, preserving the physical presence of people and representing interconnection inspired by the communal traditions of ceramics, these impressions become more than decoration - they are traces of identity, connection, and shared experience. Every mark records a human touch, celebrating the idea that ceramics has always been a social practice, bringing people together through the simple act of making with clay.
Clay has long been associated with the human body, embodying our connection to earth and land. The vessels I make act as a bridge between ancient knowledge and evolving relationships with eco systems that sustain us. A clay pot holds a life energy, it is formed from the earth and has the ability to contain or transform its contents.
